A picture is worth a thousand words. At the EMRL, the diverse ultrastructural features of biological specimens are featured in electron micrographs, in which each image represents a unique snapshot of a cell or cell component at a single point in time. Here we provide a gallery of examples of images from our research activities over the past few years. Our goal is not to simply 'show pretty pictures', but to demonstrate how the Electron Microscopy Resource Laboratory may contribute to your projects, and to further encourage all users from the Penn community and beyond to take advantage of this shared resource facility for their research program.
